Desertscape is the first in a series of three watercolor California "scapes". This piece and the colors were inspired by Joshua Tree in Southern California. This inland area outside of Palm Springs and only a couple of hours from Los Angeles is shaped by a sprawling desert scene and muted, creamy colors.

Desertscape envokes the warmth you'd feel while watching the land illuminate while the sun begins to set around you.
