Tamscape is the third in a series of three watercolor California "scapes". This piece and the colors were inspired by Mount Tamalpais in Marin County, directly across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. I continue to be in awe at this beautiful mountain each time I enter Larkspur and continue to drive toward home.

Tamscape envokes a sense of power you feel when observing something so grand – a sense that you could reach out and grab it if you wanted to, but upon closer inspection, is just out of reach.
